MCMS RAISES $3,500 THROUGH “TALLY YOUR TURKEYS” FUNDRAISER

Our MCMS community came together in a big way this November, raising $3,500 in our annual Tally Your Turkeys fundraiser to benefit the Salvation Army. Miss Haines’s first-period class took first place with a record-breaking $800, followed by Mrs. Haines’s class in second and Mr. McKelvey’s class in third.

To celebrate, students and staff gathered for a special assembly featuring fun student-versus-faculty relay competitions and the exciting announcement of our final fundraising total. We were also joined by Rocco Palotto, host of the Merf Morning Show on MERF Radio, who recorded Miss Haines’s class singing a Christmas carol as part of their winning prize. Their performance is now being played regularly on MERF Radio!

We are incredibly proud of our students’ generosity and teamwork, and we extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to this meaningful cause.
