Senior Cap and Gown and Graduation Announcement
Dear Parent/Guardian of Seniors
I hope this email finds you and your family safe and healthy. I realize that this school year has been anything but normal as the pandemic has wreaked havoc with our ability to educate children in the traditional sense and has turned the uniqueness of the senior year on its head. While we are waiting to see what Governor Wolf’s plan to reopen Pennsylvania looks like and how that will affect the way we do our graduation ceremony, we do want to make sure that we get caps and gowns and graduation announcements into the hands of seniors and their families. Because of social distancing regulations, we have to approach this both cautiously and methodically. To that end, we have developed a schedule to distribute caps and gowns and graduation announcements to seniors. I have outlined these procedures on the attachment. Please review the attachment very carefully and don’t hesitate to call or email with questions (email@example.com).
I can’t begin to tell you how much I miss all of the students and staff and how I wish that things could somehow return to normal. I do want you to know, however, that we will work tirelessly to have some sort of ceremony for these seniors who have worked so hard for so many years to reach this milestone. Please stay safe and healthy.
