Applications for local scholarships are now available online through the MCHS Guidance website. You are now able to print these applications and complete them at home so you can still make the deadlines. Completed applications should be mailed to the following address:

If you need a transcript and/or a letter of recommendation from a MCHS staff member added to a scholarship application, please include a note with the completed application indicating that you need a copy of your transcript and/or which teacher will be writing a letter of recommendation for you. You need to email the teacher(s) you would like to ask to write the letter of recommendation for you. Be sure to let them know when the scholarship is due and that they need to send the letter to Mrs. Kennington and Mrs. Neavling. GIVE TEACHERS ENOUGH TIME TO WRITE THE LETTER (at least a few days to a week if possible). When you request the letter of recommendation, you may also want to include a resume’ or a list of activities in which you participate both in and out of school including if you also hold a job. If the teacher agrees to write the letter, he or she will send the recommendation to Mrs. Kennington and Mrs. Neavling for printing, and copies of your transcript will be added to the application if you request it. If you contacted a teacher for a letter of recommendation before our last day of school, Mrs. Neavling should have it; you can email her at email@example.com.
