History |
|
HPAE became an elementary facility in 1989 as a result of
district reorganization. The building was remodeled to accommodate
the needs of the elementary student. Each pod was divided into 4
individual rooms, each group of rooms assigned to a grade level.
Playground areas were added for recess and outside activities.
There are approximately 600 students enrolled in grades K-5,
with over 60 professional and support staff members involved in
the educational development of the children. Students are
instructed in art, library, music and physical education in
addition to the full compliment of basic educational courses.
HPAE is in the Indian Valley attendance area (Area I). |
