Mrs. Tate-Anderson Receives Picturing America Award

| Mrs.
Tate-Anderson received
the Picturing America award from the National Endowment for
Humanities. Picturing America helps teach
American history and culture by bringing art into
classrooms and libraries. Strodes Mills Elementary and Middle Schools will receive 40 reproductions of great American art and a comprehensive teachers resource book for the use of the works of art in core subjects: American history, social studies, language arts, literature, and civics.
