Internet Safety, A Practical
Guide for Parents, a district
wide internet safety program, was
held on November 8, 2007, at LAHS
from 7:00 - 9:00 PM.
The presentation highlighted
new and emerging internet
technologies as well as the benefits
and concerns of internet use.
Strategies to help parents increase
internet safety on their home
computers was discussed and
helpful websites and Tech Tips were introduced. Social Networking,
Internet Benefits/Concerns and Cyber
Safety/Crime were among the
covered topics.

helped prepare or to present the
