LAHS Student of the Month

Every month a student is selected from each grade level for recognition by WMRF as the Student of the Month. An overall winner is chosen each month as well and is given an award by WMRF at the awards assembly at the end of the school year.

The selection process involves nominations by faculty and final selection as a result of a committee headed by Mr. Varner, principal. Students are chosen on the basis of their academic excellence as well as activity involvement and citizenship.
