| WELCOME: The Indian Valley Middle School Ski Club is open to all students who are looking for a fun time after school Friday’s during the winter. We ski most Fridays in January and some Fridays in February at Tussey Mountain Ski Area in Boalsburg. | ||

WEEKLY SIGN-UP: Sign-ups are each Wednesday until 8:30 A.M. If you are absent from school Wednesday, and wish to ski that week, you must signup in room 122 on Thursday by the end of homeroom. |

PREPARATION:
Students should bring ski equipment and clothing to the boy's locker
room storage closet on Friday mornings. Equipment will be locked in a storage
room, and transferred to the cafeteria at the end of the day.
Students should report to the cafeteria after school, and will be given
instructions as to where to change clothes. If a student plans to travel home from Tussey with a parent, a signed note must be turned in either Friday mornings, or given to an advisor in the ski lodge than evening. Students who plan to go home with another student's parents must have a note from their parent, as well as from the adult providing transportation. Since
skiing is an outdoor winter activity, appropriate clothing is important.
Layered clothing is a good idea, as students can add or take away layers
as needed. Waterproof gloves, and a hat are a must! Ski
pants will help to keep you warm and dry. Denim jeans are not a
good idea as they restrict movement, and get very cold when wet. |

Friday Trips: **Parents are asked to be prompt in picking up your son or daughter and to park in the lower lot rather than in the bus circle.**
