Overall Events:

  • Monday thru Thursday - Each teacher with a first period class is receiving an envelope to collect money for Relay For Life.  Envelopes will be collected during announcements on Thursday and the class with the largest number of 25 cent intervals will receive a breakfast catered by the Culinary Arts classes.  There will be two subgroups for the contest, classes with 13 or less students and classes with 14 or more students. 
    Teachers may start collecting money on Monday but the contest is not over until Quarter Thursday.

 

Monday 2/2
Students should sign up for "Fight Back" pledges during their English classes.  All pledges should be returned to the mail room.        
Monday 2/2 and Tuesday 2/3
"Cookies for a cause" - cookies on sale during all lunches.  Each bag cost $1 and will be sent to students during their 7th period class on Thursday.      
Monday 2/2, Tuesday 2/3, Wednesday 2/4, Thursday 2/5, and Friday 2/6
  • Die cuts are available at all lunches and in the faculty room to be displayed to show Indian Valley's support for cancer research.  Both 'In honor' & 'In Memory' are available.
  • "How Well Do You Know Your School?"
    Each day during the announcements there will be a picture of some spot in Indian Valley and students will be able to fill out a form for 25 cents.  A drawing will be held daily with prizes which include an IV blanket and t-shirts.
  • "Fight Back" King & Queen
    Stef Zewe, Stef Corbin, Rachel Ziegler, Brianna Severa & Laura Loht

    Nick Eversole, Nate Saltzer, Hunter Thompson, Ryan Keefer, & Jesse Crosson

    These ten basketball players will be raising money for the right to be King and Queen of Indian Valley's Fight Back Week. The students will be going around between classes and during lunches trying to raise the most money for cancer research.  The female and male player that raises the most money will be crowned King & Queen.
