Melodic Movement

Students in grades K-3 have been experiencing melodic direction and movement by eye, ear and touch. Some of the activities included individual bell playing, computer drills, worksheets, singing, listening and reading simple music notation examples. The degree of understanding and skill is determined by the appropriateness for the age level of instruction.

Can you see upward, downward, repeating notes? How about distinguishing between when the melody steps and skips? Answers are at the bottom.
