IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS FOR 2000-2001 SCHOOL YEAR

• Second dose of measles vaccine will be required beginning school year 2000/2001.

• The second dose of measles vaccine is recommended as MMR2.

• This is required for all students enrolled in Pennsylvania schools.

Dear Parents:

If your child has received boosters since kindergarten, please inform the school nurse of the vaccine and the date it was given. If your child needs his/her MMR2, please schedule an appointment with your family physician or the State Health Center. The State Health Center provides low-cost immunizations. Please call if you have any questions.

DENTAL EXAM REQUIREMENTS

Dear Parents,

Dental exams are required for all students in Kindergarten, Grade Three and Seven. I strongly recommend regular dental checkups by your family dentist so that your child receives thorough cleanings and prophylaxis.  Please feel free to call me if you have questions.
