Committee DescriptionsBADGES/CERTIFCATES – This committee designates certificates and badges for children who have perfect attendance. BOOK FAIR – This committee schedules, sets up and runs the book fair. Two week long book fairs are usually scheduled during the year. BOX TOPS, WEIS TOPS & CAMPBELL’S SOUP LABELS – This committee counts how many are received at the school and prepares them to be sent in. Proceeds go towards Home & School. CANDY CANE SALE – This committee organizes an opportunity for the kids to buy and give each other a gift for Valentine’s Day. Proceeds go towards Home & School. CASH FOR CAUSES – This chairperson organizes the sale of pre-bought grocery cards where 5% of each card comes back to Home & School. COUPON DAYS – This chairperson gets coupons out for Domino’s, Pizza Hut and Hoss’s. A percentage of each coupon comes back to Home & School. FUNDRAISER - This committee coordinates the annual school fundraiser. FIELD DAY - This committee sets up and organizes games for an afternoon event. HOBBY FAIR - This committee helps to set up collections for display that K-2 bring in for an evening. HOLIDAY CRAFTS – This committee gathers materials and helps each class to make something to take home to someone special. HOLIDAY DECORATING – This committee organizes a decoration for each student to make and then decorates the school with them. P.S.S.A. SNACKS – This chairperson gathers snacks to give to the students for a break during testing. PROGRAMS – This chairperson schedules special programs and assemblies throughout the year. SCIENCE FAIR - This committee helps to set up projects for display that grades 3-5 bring in for an evening. SPIRIT SALE – This chairperson coordinates a sale of school merchandise. TEACHERS LUNCHEON - This committee coordinates and serves the teachers an appreciation lunch at the end of the school year. YEARBOOK - This committee takes candid pictures of school events and lays out the yearbook for printing. 4TH GRADE FUN NIGHT - This committee coordinates an evening of activities for 4th grade only. 5TH GRADE FUNRAISER – This chairperson coordinates a fundraiser for students to earn money towards Shaver’s Creek. |
