Meeting was called to order at 7:02 P.M. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved. Cathy reviewed the treasurer's report.

Committee Reports

Book Fair:
April 19-23 is the date for the Spring Book Fair. This is the 1/2 price sale. Tues. April 20 is Parent Night. (6:00 - 8:00).

Calendar:
March 30 - Hobby Fair 6:30 - 7:30 - Grade 3-5.
March 31 - Science Fair 6:30 - 7:30 - Grade K-2.
April 2 - Hershey Zoo - Grade 3
April 8 - Home and School Meeting in Library @ 7:00 P.M.
April 9 - Good Friday - No School.
April 15 - Shavers Creek Field Trip - 2nd Grade - Mrs. Elsesser and Mrs. Spicer.
April 16 - Shavers Creek Field Trip - 2nd Grade - Mrs. Coble and Mrs. Hayes.
April 16 - Spirit Day - Hat Day!!
April 19 -23 - Book Fair.
April 20 - Parent Night @ Book Fair.
April 20 - Parent Advisory Committee Meeting - 6:00 P.M.

Box Tops;
Susan reported the contest went well. The children did a great job collecting box tops.

Programs
The program Magic of Science was a lot of fun. The children seemed to enjoy it!

Science Fair
The fair is scheduled for March 31 from 6:30 to 7:30 - K-2.

Hobby Fair
The fair is scheduled for March 30 from 6:30 to 7:30 - 3-5..

Spirit
Betty reported she will be offering beach towels, shorts, and T-shirts. The students can try on the shirts and shorts at the Science and Hobby Fairs.

Fundraiser
Nan is starting to set up for next year.

Field Day
Grade 3-5 will be May 20 with rain date May 27.
Grade K-2 will be May 21 with rain date May 28.

Yearbook
Everything for the yearbook is shipped.

Teacher Luncheon
Tentative date is April 28.

Badges and Certificates:
Betty reported everything went out.

4th Grade Fun Night :
The date is March 26 - after school to 8:00 P.M.

New Business

Discussions were held again on the digital camera requested by the Kindergarten teachers. The pictures will be made into a booklet to be sent home at the end of the school year.

Discussions were held on the area in the school called the cage. This is used for storage by the home and school volunteers. The area is hard to get into because of items blocking the entrance. This storage space will need to be cleaned out and organized.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:40 P.M. The next meeting will be held on April 8 , 2004, at
7:00 P.M. in the school library. All interested parents are welcome to attend.

Home and School meetings are held in the HPAE library on the 2nd Thursday of the month. Meeting time is 7 PM.
Chairpersons are still needed for many committees. Please call the school if you are interested in serving on a committee.
