3rd Grade [HPAE Home] - [3rd
Grade Projects] -
Our third grade class has been having a great time exploring living things. One of our first fun activities was to have a living thing sharing day. We had such guests as turtles, hermit crabs, a gecko, a newt, insects, and plants. Please see our photos below of some students sharing their living things. Our second project was to make shoebox habitats, representing polar, desert, forest, and rain forest habitats. We displayed these habitats in our classroom and in one of our school lobby display cases. We concluded our unit by making food chains, showing the relationship of predator and prey. We still have one exciting activity to do, and that is to publish our very own animal reports. We have been working hard during Language Arts and Computer time to prepare for this final copy that we will type soon. Learning about Living Things has been great fun. |
