The PMEA District IV Songfest

The PMEA District IV Songfest was held this past Friday April 13th at Penns Valley High School. Over 200 students from about 30 elementary schools Participated in the Friday evening concert. The festival was directed by Mrs. Patty Beggs from State College and hosted by Evie Mugridge and Shannon Henry from the Penns Valley School District.

Friday the 13th was a lucky day for one particular student from Highland Park Elementary. Twenty Five students were auditioned for a solo in the concert's final song "Everlasting Melody". The student select was Marc Auker.
