THIRD ANNUAL KAY MYERS MEMORIAL 5th GRADE PILLOW POLO GAMES

The Winning Team: Kauffman's Kougars
(with IVHS Field Hockey Players)

The fifth grade classes of Mr. Naylor, Mr. Berich, Mrs. Kauffman, and Mrs. Filson all competed in the third annual Kay Myers Memorial :Pillow Polo competition on Friday, December 21st, 2007.  Actually, Pillow Polo is much like field hockey!!  HPAE Physical Education instructor, Mr. Quay, had different colored t-shirts made for each team.  These t-shirts were bought by our Home and School Association and screen prints for each class were made by Mr. Pennepacker from Indian Valley High School..  A BIG THANK YOU the these individuals who made this game possible. Thanks to Mrs Picketts, Mr. Yearick, and Mrs. Leister for printing the shirts!

Following the games, the IVHS Field Hockey girls played a game with the 5th grade winning class.  The IVHS girls were the winners!!

Winner of the games were:

3rd - Foxy Filsons
4th - Naylor's Nighthawks
