ABRAHAM LINCOLN'S 200th BIRTHDAY

Happy 200^th Birthday, Mr. President!  In honor of Abraham Lincoln’s 200^th birthday, all students and staff of Highland Park participated in this “One Brush Stroke” painting of “Abe.  In this teamwork project everyone applied one brush stroke to create the portrait.  There are approximately 600 brushstrokes in all.  Mrs. Picketts will be constructing a frame for this masterpiece and then it will be on display in the lobby of our school.  Great penguin pride teamwork!  What would Abe think?
