The Indian Valley Senior
High Choir has been chosen to
perform at the Pennsylvania
Music Educators Association
State Conference in April of
2008. Over 150 auditions
submissions were heard and a
small number of performing
ensembles, from various
genres of music, were chosen
to perform during this three

The conference is attended
by music educators from
elementary through collegiate
levels and offers a large
number of clinics and
interest sessions as well as
concerts being given by the
groups that were invited to
perform.
This year’s Choir is made
up of 74 members in grades
9-12 and is under the
direction of Sherry D. Morgan.
The Indian Valley Choral
department has long been
known for its excellence in
choral singing as has been
demonstrated a number of
times in the past by similar
performances by the Indian
Valley Ensemble. It is
particularly exciting to all
the choir members and the
director that all of the
choral students will be
sharing in the opportunity to
represent the Mifflin County
School District as further
ambassadors of a high caliber
choral performance. |
