been selected as
"True Warriors" for
February:

IVHS Students
Selected for
All-State Chorus
Festival |
| Courtney Hill (Alto
2), Seth Kilmer (Bass
2) and Jesse Crosson
(Bass 1) have
successfully advanced
to PMEA All-State
Chorus. Their
festival journey
began in January when
they attended PMEA
District 4 Chorus at
Central Mountain High
School
with successful
placement for PMEA
Region III Chorus,
which was held at
Penns Valley Area
High School. In order
to advance to
All-States, a
vocalist must place
in the top four of
the twenty-two in
their section.

The State
conference will be
held in Hershey, PA
from April 18-21 with
the closing concert
on Saturday the 21st
to be held at
Cumberland Valley
High School at 4:30
pm.

IVHS Senior is Silver
Medalist in PIAA
Class AAA State
Wrestling Tournament |
Nic Bedelyon, a
senior at Indian
Valley High School,
received a silver
medal in the 119 lb.
weight class at the
PIAA Class AAA State
Wrestling Tournament
in Hershey, PA on
Saturday, March 10,
2007. Nic completes
his IV wrestling
career with a school
record of 123 wins
and became the first
wrestler from IVHS to
place three times in
the state PIAA
tournament. |

LAHS Scholastic
Scrimmage team join
"Sweet Sixteen" |

The Scholastic Scrimmage team
from Lewistown Area
High School defeated
Montoursville 205-190
which aired this
past Saturday. This
victory against a
higher seeded team
allows the team to
move on to the field
of sixteen teams in
next phase of the
competition. The LAHS
Team will compete
against Bellefonte on
March 27, 2007.
