National Summer Theatre Directory and IVHS
Mary ‘Maggie’ Seay, teaches Senior English at Indian Valley High School and is also the director of the drama program at IVHS. Mrs. Seay is enrolled as a graduate student in the Ashland Center for Theatre Studies at Southern Oregon University. The graduate program is an intense program specifically designed for high school and community college theatre teachers. Each year, only twenty new graduate students are selected to participate in the Master in Theatre Education program at SOU. Recently, Mrs. Seay received the 2007 Summer Theatre Directory of DRAMATICS, a special issue of the magazine that highlights outstanding summer work, study and play opportunities for theatre students and educators. The Ashland Center for Theatre Studies, specifically Mrs. Seay’s group, was highlighted with articles and snapshots in the nationally distributed magazine.

Mrs. Seay was very pleased to see that one of her former drama students, Ian Ostrowski was also pictured in the DRAMATICS magazine in an ad for the American Shakespeare Center’s "Young Company Theatre Camp in Staunton, Virginia. Ian is theatre graduate of East Stroudsburg University.

Continued studies and success to the IVHS Drama program and Mrs. Seay. Mrs. Seay will leave in early July for her second summer of studies in Oregon.
