LES Student Wins
Statewide Poster Contest
 Bailey Hannon, a third
grade student at
Lewistown Elementary
School, won first place
in a statewide poster contest
sponsored by The Mifflin
County Garden Club. The
Garden club sent Bailey's
poster in for regional
judging where it won
first place. The title of
the poster was "My Flower
Garden."

IVMS True Warriors -
April 2006
 The
'True Warrior' Award is a
student recognition
program that began in the
year 2005-2006. In this
program, students are
nominated once a month to
be a True Warrior. The

IVHS Students Advance to
State Computer Fair
CompetitionThe
PA Regional Computer Fair
was held at the Tuscarora
Intermediate Unit on
Monday 4/10. This was the
first year for the event
and Indian Valley
participated in two
events: Logo Design and
Information Based Web
Design. |

competition on May 23rd
at Dickinson College.

Drumline Wins 2nd
Consecutive Championship
Congratulations to the
LAHS Indoor Drumline for
winning their second
consecutive Keystone
Indoor Drill Association
Championship! The event
was held Saturday, April
1, 2006 at Soutwestern
High School in Hanover,
PA.
The drumline scored a
91.6 out of a possible
100 points. |
