| Joe Rose, a former Penn State football player, was at our school last week and talked about character traits. The traits he discussed were respect, responsibility, optimism, and honesty. He dressed a student in his football uniform because each piece of equipment represented one of the traits. Optimism was represented by his cleats because he was optimistic that they would get him down the field. The shoulder pads represented respect because when he put them on he was respecting the strength of his opponents.. His belt represented honesty and truth. His jersey stood for responsibility because when he put it on he was responsible for representing his school. |
