The station run by Jen
Fleck is where the students learned about the three types of corn,
reviewed the parts of a corn plant, and the pollination process. They
also looked at various corn products. At the next station the students
learned about biodegradable plastic and made their own example to keep.
Finally at the last station, they ground corn and fried corn fritters to
sample. They were given a packet of great resource materials about corn
and the 4-H program.
