| As a culminating activity to our "Electricity Unit", Mrs. Dill's students constructed houses out of cardboard boxes. Each house had to have at least four rooms. Each room had to be wired with an "On" and "Off" switch in order to work properly. The students worked in groups of four and each student was responsible for wiring one of the rooms. Their grade was evaluated by demonstrating that each room in their house had a switch in which the light could be turned on and off. The students now believe that they are ready to wire a brand-new house. Watch out Penelec!!! |
