East Derry Elementary School was built in
1962 and was renovated in 2002 to add for a growing population. Our
one story brick building sits on 8.31 acres with an
exceptional playground and spectacular views of the mountains.
The facility consist of 15 classrooms, art room, music room,
library, computer room and a large gymnasium. There is also a
mobile lab, 7 Interactive boards and a media room that our students
take full advantage of. East Derry is home to approximately
280 students, 12 classroom teachers, 2.5 title teachers and 6
special subject teachers. All of these wonderful people make
East Derry a great place to work and learn.
