The students will keep track of their meals (diet) for a one-week
(7-da7) period. They will write down what foods and drinks they have
consumed for each meal for each day during the week. At the end of

average (math) of the servings they have eaten. The students will
compare their serving averages to the daily servings on the food guide
pyramid. The students will be able to draw conclusions (language arts)
as to whether or not they have a balanced diet. Have a class
discussion on meals record results.

be used to judge what students know and/or can do?
Option #1: Class graph/line plot- Take a class average, plot
averages on a graph or line plot.
