Fast Food Analysis-Jigsaw Group Presentation

Students will research various area fast food franchises and select a regular meal and a healthy meal. 

Students will calculate nutritional value in each of the meals, and compare the two meals as to fat content, calories, and nutrients.

Students will be assigned to teams of four with each team member responsible for one aspect of the project. Students will complete the following: 

• research consequences of tobacco use

Design a Fitness Center

Students will research and design a fitness center in a 45-foot x 75-foot x 15-foot room. This includes developing a budget to equip the room with various stations, activities, and equipment for 25 students.
