Interactive Game with Extreme Winter Weather
Start with tsunamis and use time zone math to answer the first
question. If students do not know the correct an- swer to a
question, an online internet search guides them to appropriate
background research and reading. Wind chill factors, snow
density, hurricanes, and tornadoes all figure into this extreme
weather interactive challenge. (Upper elementary to middle
school level)
