Full Project Description:
The participants in this project will provide the name of their state and tell about the symbols of their state. They may use any jpg format available such as: drawing a picture on Kid Pix, scanning pictures they draw or find in magazines, or taking pictures with a digital camera of each of the symbols, and write or dictiate a sentence about each of the symbols.
Objectives:
The objectives of this project are to have the participants use the Internet for online collaboration, become producers as well as consumers of information on the World Wide Web, provide a vehicle that offers integrated learning experiences, and to learn about the symbols of various States in the United States.
