Creating a contact list of people able to connect to students in developing
countries in an effort to forge greater bonds in closing the digital divide and
encourage a mutual exchange of ideas and resources between students.

Full Project Description:
This is an ongoing effort to connect students in developing countries to classrooms around the world. The intention is to work towards forging bonds of friendship and community spirit which traverse political boundaries.
While making new friends, students in industrialized countries are offered a chance to participate in and learn about NGO and NPO development schemes around the world.
The intention is a social and cultural exchange of knowledge and ideas based on curricular content and academic goals in a mutually beneficial environment.
Although ideally suited to Languages and Social Studies curricula, all students and teachers are welcome to participate.
Objectives:
By bringing students together, we hope to create long-lasting bonds of mutual exchange and friendship which will continue to generate positive results as students move from the classroom into the workforce.
