These movies were created by the second grade classes at Brown
Elementary School. Each classes voted to read and illustrate and
narrate a Dr. Seuss book. Mrs. Selfridge’s class chose “How the
Grinch Stole Christmas” and Mrs. Criswell’s class chose “Green Eggs
and Ham”.
The computer teacher, Mrs. Ressler, read the
books to the class. Each child was responsible for illustrating and
narrating two pages of their book. The illustrations were scanned
and imported into Photostory3. The students then recorded
their voices narrating their illustrations.
We used the Photostory3 to turn the slide show
into a movie. Click on the each link to view the movie.
We took pictures of the students listening to
the stories, drawing their pictures, and practicing and recording
