My name is Timothy Henry. I am in 2nd grade at Buchanan Elementary. I think my teacher Mrs. Wilson is the best teacher because she does a lot of reading and math with us. She thinks reading and us learning our basic math facts are very important because it will make it easier when we get to the higher grades. She plays a lot of games with us to make learning fun. I like to play sparkle. That helps me learn my spelling words for the week. She also rewards us for getting good grades on our spelling test. After to many 100% on our spelling test we get a free book. That is because she encourages us to read. She wants us to do our very best. She also had us draw weather pictures for the sentinel. That was fun. That was the first time I got to do that. I had two of my drawings in the sentinel. She is just a very nice and fun teacher. We also play math bingo. That helps us learn our math facts. I like to play that game. If you want to win you need to know your math facts in order to find out what numbers to mark on your card. So please pick my teacher for the teacher of the week. She deserves to win because she cares about is and our education.
