Buchanan Elementary was built in 1951 and
an addition was put on to the building in 1963 to make room for a
growing population. Our two story brick facility sits on a 9
acre lot with a well established playground and a variety of modern
play equipment. The building consist of 21 classrooms,
library, and a gymnasium. There are approximately 290
students, 14 classroom teachers, 4 title teachers, 1 ESL teacher,
and 1 special needs teacher that call Buchanan Elementary home.
This amazing combination of staff and students makes Buchanan
Elementary an excellent place to grow and learn.
