Armagh
Elementary School
Kids of Character

Each week Armagh students are recognized by teachers for showing
qualities of good character. In keeping with the Mifflin County School
District’s focus on character education, teachers look for students who
show:
honesty, compassion, respect, initiative, loyalty, responsibility,
perseverance, courage, optimism, trustworthiness, adaptability, and
contemplation.
When students are “caught being good” they are given a “Kid of
Character” sheet which is taken to the office and placed in a box
for our weekly drawing. We are thankful to
the Armagh Home and School Association for supplying our “Kids of
Character” buttons and prizes. Please encourage your child to wear
his/her “Kid of Character” button each Friday. |

Meet Lucy and Jared. These two
fifth graders oversee the drawing and make the
announcement over the public address system. Students are summoned to
the office to receive a prize. Thanks Lucy and
Jared for a job "well done" and for being "Kids of Character"
role models! |
