The puppet show station was an
entertaining way for the children to learn about farm equipment
safety. Many farm equipment accidents happen each year and it's
important to be aware of the dangers of farm equipment.
Many students had never been
on a hayride. It was a beautiful
day for the ride and the students
had an opportunity to discover
how riding on a wagon is
different from a car.
Students learned about
how important it is to be safe from germs, for their sakes and the
animals. Several students 'got
their hands dirty', then
demonstrated that just
rinsing your hands, or
even using a small amount
of soap doesn't really
clean your hands. It
takes some effort for
germ free hands.
