| The Career Fair was set up in
conjunction with the Mifflin-Juniata Career and Technology
Center (CTC), for all fifth Grade students in the Mifflin County
School District. The Career Fair speaks directly to the Fifth
Grade Career Standards.
Students were divided into three clusters, with
4 topics in
each cluster. Group sessions were led by CTC
students. Fifth grade
students stayed either a
morning or afternoon at the
Career and Technology Center.
Much of what the students
experienced was hands on.
Each session lasted
approximately 12 to 15
minutes. Fifth grade students
were actually in the different shop areas and participated in demonstrations, as shown in the photos that follow.
